Frequently Asked Questions

What makes a winning entry?

A winning entry quite simply is the submission that best demonstrates how it meets the criteria of the category.

It is vital that you include support material to anchor what has been said in your entry form. A winning entry’s material helps to convey the success of the business with things such as photographs, marketing, menus, feedback forms.

Make sure that you leave enough time to complete your entry so that it doesn’t appear rushed. We recommended that you leave at least a day.

What support material should be included?

A selection of the below should be included as support material for your entry. It is not imperative that you include one of each, but you must convey the success of your business and the strength of your entry through this material.

Please do not include original material, as entries are unable to be returned

What the judges are looking for

The judges have only the information you provide to assess your entry so your answer needs to be comprehensive. This does not mean however that the longer entries stand a better chance of winning, the information provided should fully answer the questions without simply ‘filling.’

The financial success of the outlet/company forms part of the judging process. An entry that does not include that information will not be able to win.
